Belated Reponse... My Ass!

I sent you that email over a month ago and you shrug it off as a "belated" response? Wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that I started this blog, would it?

Unlike you, Alexander, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and go along with your, "Oh Gee Whiz! It slipped my mind." In any event, I would like to point out a few things...

I will not even debate politics with you. I am not an American (again, thank the Lord!) and I don't understand your system of government. However, as far as I remember, GWB only made president by the skin of his teeth. I am not even sure if you require a majority or certain key voting territories in the US. Doesn't matter and PLEASE don't bore me with a post on how American politics works. However - getting in by the skin of one's teeth should mean there are a fairly equal number of people (minus a few percent) who voted for the other guy. How do you reconcile the fact that almost HALF of the UNITED STATES wanted someone else... not once, but twice? Therefore, does majority mean 51% get what they want and the rest be damned? Furthermore, what happens after your president is voted out in 2008 and they elect (shudder..) Hilary Clinton? Will you be satisfied with liberal policy when the majority votes in a democratic party to office in 2008? Because according to you, majority rules...

The second source of conflict between myself and the person behind anticornswalled.blogspot.com is that he gleefully listens to "Distorted View" and defends it. Partaking of deviant programming is not a Christian behavior. We're supposed to hold our minds and bodies separate, and not defile them with unworthy influences and media.

How does your friend feel about this? You know, the one you remain friends with despite the fact that he brought DV to your attention? Isn't he a Christian? If not, I would find it hard to believe someone as pristine and holier than thou would associate with the common proles. Answer this directly, Alexander: How do you reconcile having a pervert for a good friend? Do you call him a "moron" or an "idiot" or a "pervert" to his face to get him onto your side?

Anticornswalled would have readers believe that partaking of a forbidden sin is somehow a time saving activity, as fighting it would take too much effort.

Um, no. I (and millions more) would agree that if we don't like something, we don't partake in it. If someone else does and they enjoy it, good for them! That's why we're called "individuals". I am sure you can tell what an individual is - they look different, dress different, eat different things, believe different things...

This is typical whitewash speak. You MISSED MY POINT! Let's change the story up a little - A homosexual woman is working in a restaurant on Sunday. You and your church buddies go out for lunch after church (on a Sunday, breaking the commandement of keeping the Sabbath holy by making this woman work to feed you and your church friends). Yes, I agree you haven't altered anything on your blog and you are truly commended for that. However, knowing what you know now, why not APOLOGIZE TO HIM FOR CALLING HIM A PEDOPHILE?

Unfortunately, you will never understand that there is a difference between TALKING of inappropriate things and DOING inappropriate things! You still do not address specific key arguments and questions. That is what I meant about whitewashing. You ignore points made and seem to reply to ones you find easy rather than addressing them ALL. Try it this time.
