Interesting. I suppose my efforts have failed so far. For a little while there I thought perhaps you had gotten the hint about Distorted View, but alas, I see a new post today.

Alexander, I find it interesting that you took the time to reply to my initial conversation on your blog, but I am a little dismayed about the lack of interest in my last email to you a couple of weeks ago. I guess my thoughts and comments must have been too difficult for you to debate. So, in typical conservative fashion, the blind eye is used and the issue swept under the rug. I thought for sure you would have responded, as you insist on taking on tough issues and you do not appear to back down easily. Your "stubborn-ess" was a quality I admired. Pity.

In any event, I have included a copy of the last email. Unlike your world view, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps you didn't receive my email - gmail is notorious for losing mail (and allowing views such as yours to pervade the internet).

I do have one question - you said in a previous post that you would pray for my wayward soul - do you pray for Tim? Do you pray for his salvation, or do you pray that God will smite him?

Based on your aforementioned statement here, I am happy to know that you will not be standing next to me when I receive my judgement when I die. I am happy to know that my faith is based on a one on one relationship with Jesus, and not a relationship with you (i.e. how you believe I should conduct myself based on YOUR interpretations of the Bible.)

What you see as a permissive attitude, I call choosing my battles. If I had to make it my mission to speak out against everything I found that "perverts" my religion, I would not be able to hold a full time job to support my family. A good example of battle-choosing is your own blog - you choose to slander Tim and slam homosexuals and Muslims. Surely these are not the only "perversions" in our society, yet these are the three topics you choose to focus on for the most part.

Perhaps I have dedicated my energies to eradicating child abuse? Or working with the homeless? Or counselling drug addicts and alcoholics? You would not know that, yet you choose to assume I am a "Liberal Christian" because I listen to the Distorted View and want to shut your blog down as a result.

I can make assumptions too. I can assume from your blogs that you are:

An older gentlemen (over 60 surely)
A Baptist (and a Calvinist too - they do go hand in hand, don't they?)
You believe sex is for procreation only
You wear a suit on Sunday
You believe anything that has a beat (i.e. rock music) is of the Devil
KJV is the only version that should be used

... and the list could go on ...

You know that old expression, "When you assume you make an ass out of you and me?" In this case, you make an ass of yourself.

Furthermore, what you perceive in me as being permissive could not be further from the truth. Do I believe homosexuality is a sin? Yes, I do. Do I believe homosexuals will get in to the Kingdom of Heaven. No, I do not believe they will. It is a black and white issue. However, because I am not condescending and do not equate homosexuality with pedophilia, that makes me liberal? Here's an example of how your approach will always fail. I truly hope you take this to heart:

A homosexual man comes to the realization he living a sinful lifestyle. He wants to turn to the church for help. He gets online for some information on what he has to do to change his life. He comes across your blog. He reads that he is no better than a pedophile. He decides not to attend church to get the help he wants because of what you and other ultra conservatives believe about him. He dies and heads to hell in sin because you robbed him of his chance for salvation.

Are you telling me, Alexander, that when you die, God will praise your crusade after what you did to this man? If you answer yes, then please don't bother to read further. You simply don't get it and we are at a stalemate.

While you raised a few interesting issues that I would like to debate with you further (but won't because of what I said earlier) I was also disappointed at how you ignored some queries I made, specifically:

According to your blog, you have heard, what, 5 minutes out of five hundred and seventy half hour programs? I wish all I needed was five minutes to become a heart surgeon - I hear the pay is fabulous.

I'm not saying to immerse yourself in what you consider perverted. But at least get a decent grasp of the podcast before you spout off about it. And not what you have heard about it from friends - LISTEN TO IT A FEW TIMES BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR CLAIMS! Your ignorance of the subject is apparent, and yet you continue to slander.

Perhaps if parents were being parents, and not relying on YOU to do their jobs, Alexander, this wouldn't be an issue. A funny comment coming from a Liberal Christian, eh? If you don't mind, I would rather be the one who determines what is obscene and what is not when it comes to my children (and for me as well)

Believe it or not, I understand your frustration at seeing what you believe is wrong, Alexander. You are frustrated with Tim Henson because you think he is wrong. I am frustrated with you because I think you are wrong. But calling people "idiots" and "morons" on a blog, and assuming that people are pedophiles because they satirize it (legally) on a show is not the way go.

Finally, one can only assume (there's that word again!) that you have recanted your blog about making a mistake by calling Tim a pedophile. This assumption can be made by your statement of:

Pedophiles and Homosexuals are one in the same. There is no distinction between them. Tim Henson has repeatedly produced audio and video glorifying and dramatizing pedophilia. If Tim Henson were to bring Libel charges against me, I would simply provide the judge with some copies of Henson's Podcast and videos. Only the most hard core activist judges would fail to see my logic when confronted with the actual program.

Hmm? Let's see - you originally called Tim a pedophile, then said (on April 4)

As a result of this legal loophole, I will be cease referring to "Tim Henson" as a Pedophile and cease using the term in reference to his Podcast, "Distorted View."

And now it appears you are calling him a pedophile again (by the way - what videos have you watched? I thought you didn't listen to the show?) Anyway, which one is it, Alexander? And let's be clear - if you genuinely believe you are right and it would stand up in court, then call him a pedophile and let's be done with it.

PS : I am happy to see the WBC link gone, as well as the horrible video replaced with a link. At least the children you are so concerned about won't be further traumatized by this video when they come to harass your comment section for your blogs.

I have informed Mr. Troll of this blog and welcome any comments he might make. I doubt he has the balls to do so and you know what? I really don't care if he does. All I care about is having a free forum where anyone can post comments either in favour or against a particular blog. As Alexander likes to choose which comments he will allow to show on his blogs, and he continues to ignore mine, I will post my own comments here everytime he writes drivel on his own.
